Sources with direct knowledge tell us the former 'Teen Mom' star recently submitted court docs in North Carolina signaling her intent to formally separate -- although, it doesn't like divorce is on the table just yet ... but, from the sounds of it, that's the next natural step here.
Gallery Jenelle And David Together Launch Gallery The court filing, as reported by The Sun, makes several allegations against David in terms of reasoning for wanting to split -- including reported claims of erratic behavior, substance abuse and refusal to work ... among other problems Jenelle cites, including other disturbing things.
The Sun notes Jenelle points out DE taking out their pet dog in 2019 ... and more recently, she says he's currently facing criminal charges for allegedly abusing her teenage son, Jace.
We broke the story ... Jenelle and David were suspected of child neglect after her 14-year-old son Jace ran away multiple times last summer. After the third time he'd done so, Jace apparently told cops David assaulted him.
Our sources told us Jace had visible markings on his arms and neck when he was picked up, leading local police to investigate and eventually arrest David. Eason's currently facing two charges -- misdemeanor child abuse and felony assault by strangulation.
Just last week ... Jenelle was detailing a recent attempted break-in at her home there in NC -- but David's name was noticeably absent from her description of the horrifying incident.
Gallery Jenelle Evans' Family Photos Launch Gallery Now, we know why ... The Sun reports that Jenelle is citing their separation date as Feb. 16 -- and this document was apparently filed sometime toward the end of last month, Feb. 23.
Jenelle reportedly goes on to make more allegations against David -- including the claim that he hasn't checked in on her since they officially separated ... and that he's living on their boat. She cites the fact they have kids together ... and that he's allegedly gone off the radar.
While these aren't divorce docs, per se, Jenelle is apparently already asking for primary physical custody of their daughter, as well as child support. David and Jenelle share 7-year-old Ensley. She also reportedly signals she wants control of the family home, and a majority of their marital assets for herself. In other words, it's shaping up to a messy uncoupling.
We've reached out to Jenelle for comment ... so far no word back.

According to the filing, obtained by TMZ, the 'BB' star is citing the classic irreconcilable differences for his reason ... and he wants a court to not sign off on giving Christmas Abbott alimony, noting she's gainfully employed.
There's no minor children ... and in terms of assets, Memphis wants a judge to divvy up what they have equitably. Pretty boilerplate -- but the larger message is ... the marriage is over.
No storybook ending for "Big Brother" alums Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott ... they are no longer living under the same roof, and they're hurtling toward a divorce.
Sources close to the couple tell TMZ … Memphis and Christmas officially split last week when she filed for a temporary DV restraining order against Memphis and a judge granted her court-ordered protection.
We're told infidelity and lying are at the core of the breakup ... with Christmas feeling like Memphis is not the person she thought he was when she married him.

Sources familiar with the sale tell TMZ ... the "Pose" star listed his 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath house -- which is located 70 miles outside NYC in the beach town of Bellport Village in Long Island -- on Tuesday ... asking for a cool $2.5 million for the over one-acre property.
While it may sound like a pretty penny to some ... it's worth every cent. The house comes with a gorgeous outside patio, a heated lap pool, a home gym, and its very own tree house. The property also offers over 4,500 square feet of living space on well-kept grounds.

In his response to Ariana's lawsuit, he also says he has a lien on the house that's directly tied to this alleged loan to her -- and he says no sale can go down until this is dealt with.
BackgridAs we first told you ... Ariana is suing Tom over the Los Angeles house they co-own. They lived there when they were a couple, but Ariana wants to sell it and split the money now that they've broken up as a result of his cheating scandal.
Tom's so far resisted ... and now it looks like he's digging his heels in even further and claiming she needs to settle up with him over this loan before selling the house. As for the other allegations Ariana made in her original suit ... he issues general denials against them.

SHE'S BEING PETTY!!!Remember ... Tom and Ariana bought the place back in 2019 for around $2 million, and like most real estate in Los Angeles it could probably sell for more now.
Tom's also recently said he's offered to buy out Ariana, making a $3.1 million cash offer to keep the place for himself.

Getty Composite"Stranger Things" creator Ross Duffer's movie director wife is dropping the curtain on their marriage … she just filed for divorce.
The Hollywood producer's writer/director spouse, Leigh Janiak, beelined it to court Friday and filed to divorce her husband after 9 years of marriage ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.
In the docs, Leigh is going with the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
Ross and Leigh, famous for directing horror projects like "Honeymoon" and "The Fear Street Trilogy," tied the knot in January 2015 ... and she says the date of separation is TBD.
They first met way back in 2006 at a Los Angeles production company, where Leigh was an assistant to the producer and Ross was an intern.
GettyThere won't be any child custody or child support issues to hash out ... because they did not have any kids. Leigh is asking for spousal support.
Ross and his twin brother, Matt Duffer, are best known for writing, directing, and producing the Netflix hit series "Stranger Things." The twins also wrote and directed a 2015 horror flick, "Hidden."

We talked to the model/adult film actress Friday in L.A. just ahead of a podcast she was heading into at the No Jumper store -- more on that later -- and our photog chopped it up with her to get the story on what exactly happened between her and the "Hot Ones" host ... who's quite private.
According to Melissa ... things were going swimmingly between her and Sean for at least a couple months, and she says they were having a great time together as a new couple.
We even asked her about the Super Bowl -- where she was posting tons of pics of him that weekend -- and MS says they were actually going around introducing each other to friends at that point ... which makes the split all the more sucky, 'cause she says she liked him.

The way she tells it ... he had a little bit of a flip-flop in opinion over whether he was actually okay with her past and current line of work. Melissa claims he was on board at the beginning -- but suggests that once their relationship fell into the public eye ... he got skittish, which she gets and has no hard feelings about.
