The company has been one of the world’s most popular toymakers and last year saw its fastest sales growth in five years, helped by locked-down families buying bigger Lego sets they could make together.

Lego Masters USA, which is now being aired in the UK on Channel 4, is presented by Will Arnett, the voice of Lego Batman, with Amy and Jamie Berard as judges.
Her Scottish accent was a “bit of a concern” at first, but turned out to be a hit with the US audience. Compared to the UK’s warm family show, Amy said the US version was supersized with “bigger sets, bigger challenges and incredible talent”.

Corbett is responsible for developing new product lines. She worked on the Lego Friends line, a line that was launched when she arrived at the Lego Group. She also worked for the Lego Disney line. She was part of the concept team for the 2018 film The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.
Corbett attended Eastwood High School and studied Product Design Engineering at the University of Glasgow. In 2008, Corbett spent three months assisting a non-government organization (NGO) in Botswana in the creation and implementation of sustainable projects.
Her current project with her design team is Lego DOTS, customize daily items like jewelry and picture frames. In 2020 she was a judge, called “Brickmaster Amy”, at the American edition of Lego Masters; a television reality show in which teams compete to build the best Lego project.
