Cressida Bonas's ex Edward Holcroft slipped and injured his arm in a disaster while filming new football drama The English Game.
The 31-year-old actor was spotted in a sling and receiving oxygen from a paramedic while Downtown Abbey's creator Julian Fellowes's Netflix series kicked off filming for the first time in Manchester on Monday.
The English actor, who dated Prince Harry's ex in 2015, was forced to stop filming scenes of the football drama to tend to his injuries.

During filming, a park in Manchester was transformed into a Victorian football pitch which saw teammates kicking a leather ball.
Hoards of spectators in the stands were dressed up in period costume, including top hats, fascinators and petticoats.

The upcoming drama on the six part series, which follows the origins of football and will explore how the game 'reached over the class divide'.
The series will also star a host of English actors, including Charlotte Hope (Ramsay Bolton’s lover Myranda in Game of Thrones), Gerard Kearns (Shameless), Daniel Ings (The Crown), Henry Lloyd Hughes (The Inbetweeners), Kate Phillips (Peaky Blinders) and Joncie Elmore (Downton Abbey).
Only limited details have been released regarding casting.
Bosses at Netflix said of the show: 'The six-part drama charts the origins of football.... How those involved in its creation reached across the class divide to establish the game as the world's most popular sport.'

Edward Holcroft previously dated Prince Harry's ex Cressida Bonas, and the pair began dating in 2015.
But Cressida's family were reportedly snubbed her new love as they were hung up on Prince Harry.

Mean while Craig Parkinson gained a cult following playing DI Matthew 'Dot' Cotton in Jed Mercurio's BBC Line of Duty.

It comes as Julian Fellowes new show Belgravia is also in production which will come out on ITV.
The upcoming series will include scenes from several stunning Victorian locations, including London, Edinburgh, Bath and Northumberland.
While Downton Abbey's award-winning creative team will be reunited once again for the adaption of his novel, also called Belgravia, including Killing Eve's Colin Wratten producing.
