Not everyone gets to have a day off on Christmas, but those who do have extended the holiday cheer for those working thankless jobs.

One Queensland man decided to take matters into his own hands, leaving behind a six-pack of Crown Lager beers on top of a rubbish bin on Christmas Day.

Nelson Andrado shared the generous act to Instagram, filming the moment a garbage collector stopped by and noticed the kind gesture.  

'Shout out to all the legends working today,' he captioned the video.
