TOM Hardy is soon to be seen on screen completely in the buff as part of his new TV show, Taboo.
The 39-year-old actor, who is also executive producing the eight-part BBC show, gave fans an eyeful of what is to come as the trailer for the gritty drama was released.
In a brief moment, Tom can be seen completely naked as he sits in front of a lamp with his head in his hands.
He will take on the role of James Keziah Delaney in the new show the star penned himself with his father.
The story follows James’s return home after a ten year absence travelling to Africa – leaving most to assume he was dead.
On his return, he is reunited with his sister and uncovers the legacy of his murdered father – leading him to seek revenge on those who killed him.
A previous sneak peek showed him wading through a river in Africa – and covered almost completely in tribal tattoos.
Speaking at the show’s launch, director of content Charlotte Moore said Taboo will spark the channel’s “reinvention” of Saturday TV.

She added: “We’re going to play with formats, create new slots across the week and on Saturdays, we’re already piloting some exciting new shows.”
The eight-part drama is set to be the darkest drama to air on BBC1 on a Saturday so far – as the first episode will see Tom’s character suffering disturbing flashbacks.
The Peaky Blinders actor will also be shown arranging the exhumation and dissection of his father’s dead body.
Taboo will launch on the same day as Gary Barlow’s new entertainment series Let It Shine – and show bosses are hoping that the multi-million series will bring in ratings comparable to The Night Manager.
Taboo will be part of BBC’s ‘reinvention’ of Saturday night telly – which has previously been reserved for more family friendly programmes.
